The events of Spider-Man: No Way Home preemptively helped Peter Parker avoid running into a particular problem in the upcoming Armor Wars series on Disney+. Parker being involved with the late Tony Stark and in possession of technology from his mentor makes him a target to those interested in getting their hands on Stark Tech. Luckily for the MCU’s webhead, he doesn’t have to worry about that anymore.

Tony Stark’s technology has fallen into the wrong hands in the past. From Obadiah Stane in 2008’s Iron Man to Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far From Home, Stark Tech has inadvertently found its way to aiding many villains of the MCU. Armor Wars, while there is a slim amount of information about the show and its plot, is supposedly going to dive deeper into the billionaire’s super-advanced technology and how others are gaining access to it in the current timeline. But Spider-Man: No Way Home protects Peter from being caught up in the controversy of Tony Stark’s creations.

number of Spider-Man’s suits in the MCU were given to him by his late mentor, Tony Stark. In Captain America: Civil War, Tony Stark gifts Peter with a high-tech suit, and he wears it in the first two MCU Spider-Man films. There’s also the Iron Spider suit which is first seen in Avengers: Infinity War, a major upgrade from the original Stark suit. Then there’s the black and red suit that Peter makes on a Stark jet in Spider-Man: Far From Home. It’s fair to say that a number of Spider-Man’s MCU suits are aided by the help of Tony’s technology. This would normally make him a huge person of interest to individuals trying to steal Stark Tech. However, since the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, no one knows who Peter Parker is any more thanks to Doctor Strange’s spell. This allows Peter and his suits to remain hidden and safe from those trying to hack into and study Stark Tech. Plus, he is currently using another custom homemade suit, which helps loosen his connection to Stark.

How Armor Wars Can Still Impact Spider-Man’s Future In The MCU

While Peter Parker is erased from everyone’s mind, Spider-Man is still known to the public. The problem with this is that it is still public knowledge that Spider-Man has connections to Iron Man and the Avengers. It is possible that whoever is looking into studying, stealing, or hacking Stark Tech in Armor Wars may try to figure out who’s connected to Tony Stark and go after them for information. Spider-Man also holds a special place in his heart for his late mentor and would want to help protect Stark’s legacy despite how dangerous it might be for him to get involved. Regardless of what happens, Spider-Man’s suits and access to Stark Tech may cause Peter Parker some problems in the future.

Spider-Man: No Way Home provides Peter with a safety net from the events of Armor Wars. Again, there is little known about the upcoming project and whether Spider-Man becomes a target or not due to his connections to Tony Stark. Still, Marvel Studios always has tricks up its sleeves to surprise its fans during unlikely moments. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that the wallcrawler might show up in the Disney+ series.
